Palm / PocketPC Sync Help

The desktop application does not directly sync with your pda, it syncs with a folder which contains the files below which your hotsync or activesync should backup to that folder every time you do a sync. The only things that could cause a syncto fail is if the sync software, Palm Desktop or Active Sync etc., is not backing up these files from the pda or you select the wrong folder where these files are located. There may be some settings that need to be made in your sync program. Please check the dates to make sure that they are indeed more up to date files and make sure that you have logged out and quit the pda version before doing the hotsync to make sure that the files on the pda are fully updated. When you do a sync via the HealthEngage Desktop application you also update these files in the backup folder so that if you want to have all of your current desktop data on your handheld you must manually replace the files on your pda with these files.

We tried to make it very simple and all that is necessary is to get the following files into a folder on your computer and choose that folder with your desktop app to successfully work.

Files that should be present in the folder you select in the desktop app for synching for a successful sync for HealthEngage Diabetes (Diet and the others are the same but with different prefixes, Diet, Asthma, etc.:
